"This Teenage Boy Got Some Nappy Hair!"

Posted on September 13, 2011 at 11:05 PM

Everyday is a Hair Battle!

This boy of mine is 16 years old and he always changing his mind about his hair. I have been doing his hair all his life and he is so Picky without the Hair Pic! He just full of  Nappy-ness and always want his mama to save him! What would he do without me?

He don't trust no other stylist on his hair! I am so happy he thinks I am the Best Stylist He Knows! Thats alot coming from a teenager. I feel honored to be his mother and his stylist. I get to Tame & Comb & Care for his Hair. Which is my position as a stylist and his mom. He lucky because he wouldn't  know what to do with his all-natural mess!

Reasons Why I Do My Son's Hair

~ I am a professional stylist & mama knows best!

~ Its not good to have a lot of different people in your hair, pick one stylist and stick with them. They know your hair and will treat it the best. Like they your mama!

~ I will alway be courteous and considerate of his style options and his time, he's my boy! I know him well!

~ I know his personality and what he likes, no dissapointments!

~ Because he really likes my work! No matter what style he chooses I know exactly how to do it!

This is before he cut his locs...

Free-Style Locs!

This is his latest style after cutting off his Locs....

He looks very satisfied to me!

Braiding your hair after you cut your locs is one style option that is easy to do! Your hair is your crown & glory, just let the real you shine thru. As long as its healthy, your happy and its still an All-Natural you!

Hey Karen Thanks! Bi-Racial hair grows and varies many different textures! There will be some new postings in my up and coming blog entries in "Blog Frizzies" all about Bi-Racial hair, so come back soon. Mahogany Tresses has the answer!

LOVE your blog! Can't wait to read more! Can you give me some advice about doing my children's bi-racial hair?

Thanks Perhsice!
I just like it when he looks neat. He didn't want a hair cut so we both decided the braids were a better choice!
